The second day of the Islamic Study Session (Daurah Islamiyyah) organized by Al Wafi Islamic Boarding School at Nidaul Islam Mosque and Kuwait Mosque was once again filled with extraordinary enthusiasm and spirit from the participants. This event, featuring scholars from the Islamic University of Madinah, attracted over 300 participants from various regions in Indonesia.
At 7:35 AM, the first session of the second day commenced with material presented by Dr. ‘Adil bin Ali bin Ghanim. He delivered a lecture on Maharah Lughah, a key focus in the study of the Arabic language. Previously, in the earlier session, Dr. ‘Adil had assigned homework to the participants, which they completed diligently and enthusiastically. Participants eagerly worked on the assignments the night before, demonstrating their commitment and seriousness in pursuing knowledge.
Each homework submission was reviewed, and the results reflected the participants’ enthusiasm for engaging in each session held. Their desire to learn and deepen their knowledge was evident in their dedication to completing the tasks assigned.
One participant who showed remarkable enthusiasm was Jalaludin Hafidz, an alumnus of Al Wafi Islamic Boarding School. He provided positive feedback on the organization of the daurah, emphasizing the significance of this event for participants in enhancing their knowledge and skills in the Arabic language and Islamic studies.
The Daurah Islamiyyah will continue until July 8, 2024, allowing participants ample time to delve into the materials and interact directly with the scholars. This session is not merely an educational event but also serves as a moment to strengthen commitments to seeking knowledge and fostering Islamic brotherhood among participants.
