Depok, July 5, 2024 – The Islamic Study Session (Daurah Islamiyyah) organized by Al Wafi Islamic Boarding School entered its second day, filled with high spirits and enthusiasm from the participants. One of the most engaging sessions of this Daurah was the “Learning Leadership” workshop led by Coach Kartiko Adi Pramono, Dipl. Ing. HTL. ACMC, a coach from the Islamic Leadership Learning Center (ILLC).
A Unique Theme and Atmosphere
This session addressed a timely theme, “Applying Leadership in Facing the VUCA Era and Neoliberal Challenges.” Coach Kartiko presented the material in an enjoyable and dynamic manner, creating an atmosphere that made participants feel more engaged and motivated to delve deeper into leadership from an Islamic perspective. This session added a refreshing element to the usual proceedings of the Daurah.

One of the topics covered was the “Iceberg Phenomenon,” which discussed aspects of awareness (both conscious and subconscious). Participants were encouraged to understand the importance of self-awareness and how it can be applied to face challenges in the VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity) era and the neoliberal context.
