Depok, August 3, 2024 – Following the successful Grand Opening on August 1, 2024, WafiFest 2024 has entered a new phase with the commencement of exciting competitions today. Campus B of Al Wafi Islamic Boarding School in Pengasinan, Sawangan, Depok, was filled with the spirit of competition as hundreds of students representing over 200 schools from across Indonesia gathered for the event.
The first day of WafiFest 2024 saw participants from various regions come together. Notably, 70% of the participants hailed from Islamic boarding schools affiliated with PULDAPII (Association of Islamic Da’wah and Education Institutions), making this event not only a competition but also a platform for networking and showcasing the achievements of Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia.
A variety of sports and academic competitions enlivened the first day of WafiFest 2024. Intense matches were held in basketball and futsal, while the quiz competition tested the intellectual capabilities of the participants. The enthusiasm of the audience filling the arena added to the vibrant atmosphere of the competition.
In addition to the competitions, WafiFest 2024 featured a food and clothing bazaar that attracted considerable attention. Various delicious culinary delights and interesting clothing items were offered by vendors, creating a bustling and enjoyable marketplace ambiance.
