In addition to the swimming demo, the day featured various other activities. New students were introduced to Jam’iyyatul Qur’an, the organization responsible for Qur’an-related programs at the boarding school. The organization leaders explained various programs students can participate in, such as memorization, recitation, and Qur’an studies.
As part of their orientation, students also enjoyed a tour of the campus facilities, including dormitories, classrooms, the library, and more. This tour was designed to familiarize new students with the environment where they will study and live.
Another highlight was a seminar on maintaining a clean and healthy lifestyle in the boarding school setting. The speaker provided valuable insights into personal and environmental cleanliness, along with practical tips for staying healthy. The interactive format helped students easily understand and remember the information shared.
Today’s program also included a tahsin session, where students received training in proper Qur’anic recitation, focusing on tajweed (correct pronunciation). This activity aims to improve the students’ Qur’an reading quality.
