Depok, July 21, 2024 – Today, Al Wafi Islamic Boarding School held a “Welcoming Day” event at the Kuwait Mosque, Al Wafi Islamic Boarding School, Depok. This event, organized to welcome new male and female students, was attended by special guests, members of the foundation, staff, new students, and their parents.
During the event, Ustadz Ali Saman Hasan, the advisor of the Bina Wafi Indonesia Foundation, delivered an inspiring and heartfelt welcome. He expressed Al Wafi’s commitment to providing excellent service, high-quality education, and comprehensive care for all students. He emphasized that Al Wafi aims to mold a “golden generation” amid the powerful currents of globalization.
“Islamic boarding school education is our solution as globalization impacts us,” said Ustadz Ali Saman Hasan. He highlighted the importance of pesantren (boarding schools) as a protective shield against the increasingly complex challenges of globalization. “Parents who choose to enroll their children in a pesantren are making the right choice. The pesantren protects the younger generation from issues like drugs, online gambling, gaming addiction, and loan traps,” he added.
He also reminded parents about Al Wafi’s published magazine, which serves as a valuable resource for parents to track the school’s journey and achievements over time.
