Al Wafi Islamic Boarding School and Mahad Aly Al Wafi Entrusted with Hosting Exams for International University of Africa Students

Depok, July 24, 2024 – Al Wafi Islamic Boarding School and Mahad Aly Al Wafi have been honored to serve as the official exam hosts for students of the International University of Africa (IUA). This exam period is scheduled from July 28 to August 24, 2024, a testament to both institutions’ recognized credibility and reputation in Islamic higher education at the international level.

This appointment highlights the high academic standards upheld by Al Wafi Islamic Boarding School and Mahad Aly Al Wafi, both of which have long been acknowledged as institutions prioritizing quality, integrity, and a commitment to Islamic scholarship. The exams will assess hundreds of students from nine different faculties at the International University of Africa, focusing primarily on Southeast Asian students from countries like Indonesia, Malaysia, China, and Thailand. These exams will evaluate not only students’ academic understanding but also their practical knowledge and application of the studies they’ve pursued.

Dr. Abu Bakar Bakhit, Head of the International Examination Center for IUA Southeast Asia based in Indonesia, stated that these exams will be conducted simultaneously across seven countries, including Indonesia, Egypt, the UAE, Comoros, and several locations in Sudan. The exams will follow Sudan’s time zone, with three scheduled times in Indonesia: 1:00 PM, 4:00 PM, and 7:00 PM (WIB).

To ensure smooth and credible exam administration, faculty members from Al Wafi Islamic Boarding School and lecturers from Mahad Aly Al Wafi will act as coordinators overseeing the examination process, from preparation to final assessment. These coordinators, experienced and knowledgeable in their respective fields, bring valuable expertise to manage this significant academic responsibility.

Ustadz Muhammad Syuja’i Anhar, Head of Mahad Aly Al Wafi, expressed gratitude and appreciation for the trust placed in the institution. “This is a great responsibility, and we are committed to fulfilling this trust with excellence. We will ensure that the exam process is conducted transparently, fairly, and in alignment with international standards,” he stated.

Ustadz Ali Saman Hasan, a mentor at Al Wafi Islamic Boarding School and Mahad Aly Al Wafi, added that this collaboration strengthens the bond between their institutions and international higher education bodies. “We hope this marks the beginning of numerous future collaborations that will benefit both parties and enrich the academic experiences of students,” he said.
