Alhamdulillah, six alumni from Al Wafi Islamic Boarding School (IBS) have officially been sent off to further their studies in Jordan, known as the “Land of the Prophets.” The send-off ceremony took place at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport yesterday, attended by Al Wafi’s representatives and the students’ families.
The six alumni will pursue their education at various institutions in Jordan, a country recognized as a center of Islamic civilization and a significant site in the history of the prophets. This program is part of Al Wafi IBS’s commitment to providing international educational opportunities for its graduates.
With this journey, Al Wafi IBS hopes that the alumni will deepen their religious knowledge and eventually return to contribute to the Muslim community and the nation. This effort is also part of Al Wafi’s mission to prepare future generations who are knowledgeable, possess good character, and can contribute on a global scale.
Their studies in Jordan are expected to be the first step in achieving remarkable accomplishments in the future, bringing honor to Al Wafi and Indonesia on the international stage.
The send-off ceremony was conducted solemnly, with full support from family, teachers, and school administrators. Al Wafi Islamic Boarding School remains committed to nurturing generations ready to become scholars and broad-minded Muslim intellectuals, prepared to face global challenges.
